LA Director, Tom Logan is coming!
Television
commercials and film-work are now a booming, multi-million dollar
industry. As a fiercely competitive industry, professionals are
demanding that any budding talent is prepared and trained in
on-camera techniques and practices. To help you/your child get
that jumpstart to your/their career and achieve the winning edge, Tom
Logan, renowned director, producer, writer and teacher from Los
Angeles, will be conducting an Acting Workshop entitled "The
Audition" which covers everything from how to audition to
how to leave the room to how to get the job.
Linda will be
hosting Tom Logan the weekend of November 14th (see specific times
and information below). If you are interested - please let us
know as payment must be made before the workshop.
As a benefit
to the talent participating, the workshop will include a brief
Industry Overview. At the Industry Overview, Mr. Logan
will lend his valuable insight about the commercial/film market and
successful tools for marketing and promoting your/your child's
career, including advice and approaches to acting; auditioning,
slating and interviewing skills; and winning tips for commercial and
theatrical headshots, as well as wardrobe and imaging. Mr.
Logan will be sharing his knowledge and computerized statistics
gathered over the past 30 years of who books and why. He will
give you invaluable insight from a director's perspective.
Linda has had the privilege of meeting with Mr. Logan and finds it
rare for a man of this caliber and recognition in the entertainment
industry to come to our area and lend his industry advice, as well as
his methods and techniques to successful on-camera acting and
auditioning for television and film. As the acclaimed author of
four books, including his recent release of "How to Act &
Eat at the Same Time" - "The Do's and Don'ts of Landing a
Professional Acting Job"., Mr. Logan will offer a rare, insider
look into the business and his career that spans over 30 years.
